But above all, this flexible system concept based on modern lift technology stands out due to the special individual solutions it provides for all lines of industry.
When building its new workshops, Gressel also invested in a modern sawmill with an efficient storage and retrieval system for materials up to 3.5 metres in length. The solution: a new production warehouse with simple handling, good access and short routes from the side-opening cassettes to the sawing machines.
It was important that the installation was compact while providing high storage capacities, that optimum cassette sizes were used for three EURO pallets and that material could be retrieved manually from the cassette fronts. The cassettes were fitted with lifting points for spreaders so that even complete cassettes could be used easily for internal transportation.
Gressel has been involved in metalworking for over 85 years. Today, the company from the east of Switzerland offers its customers throughout Europe sophisticated clamping solutions, from the initial idea through to spare parts. Production take place in the company‘s own machining centre, where highly precise and practical innovations are developed.
