Typical applications of Fehr WMS

  • Automatic and manual warehouses

Fehr WMS controls automated high-bay and cassette warehouses as well as manual storage areas. All stock movements – regardless of conveyor technology or means of transport – are systematically recorded, prioritized and transparently managed. This results in an integrated inventory and process overview.

  • Pick & Shipping Processes

The system supports various picking strategies such as pick-by-dialog or mobile terminals, including plausibility checks and routing control. Packaging, labeling and shipping documentation are digitally coordinated – for efficient processes and reduced error rates.

  • Production supply

Fehr WMS supplies materials on demand and synchronizes stock movements with production orders. Intermediate warehouses, buffer zones and feedback are managed in an integrated way to ensure a stable and predictable material supply.

  • Goods Receipt & Shipment

From entry recording to quality inspection to storage allocation: the WMS digitizes all processes in the goods receipt. In shipping, it supports consolidation, packaging control and handover to transport service providers – for a continuous material flow.

  • Integrated and hybrid storage environments

Whether fully automated systems or mixed forms from manual and technical processes: Fehr WMS connects all storage areas in a central system solution. Human beings, technology and software work in a coordinated manner on the basis of transparent real-time data.

How your intralogistics benefit

  • Greater transparency throughout the warehouse

All assets, movements and orders are visible in real time – for informed decisions and maximum process reliability.

  • More efficient material flows

Intelligent prioritization, optimized routes and automatic replenishment reduce throughput and lead times.

  • Automation reduces errors

Automatic data transfer, weighing system integration and identification via barcode or RFID minimize manual entries and error rates.

  • Flexible scalability

Thanks to modular architecture, the system grows with your requirements – from small storage areas to complex automatic and production environments.

  • Seamless system integration

Fehr WMS integrates with existing ERP structures and supports hybrid environments from manual and automated processes.

  • Maximum operational safety

Redundant structures, mirrored data and backup mechanisms ensure stable availability – even in the event of disruptions.

  • Full traceability

Batch, series and movement data are fully documented – from receipt of goods to dispatch.

  • User-friendly operation

A modern, intuitive interface and mobile support make everyday work easier for all user groups.
