  • 2024

    Acquisition of Italian Matter S.r.l., based in Bibbiano (IT) by the majority owners of Fehr Group AG. One of the most powerful technology platforms for automated material flows and storage of long and flat material is being created worldwide.

  • 2024

    Founding of the Fehr branches in Poland, Warsaw and France, Haguenau Thomas Lehner becomes new Managing Director of Fehr Group AG.

  • 2019

    Market launch of self-sufficient material storage including tube/rod separation – integrated into machine tool and fully integrated into Fehr Multi Tower warehouses.

  • 2017

    Founding of the Fehr branch in the USA, Charlotte (North Carolina).

  • 2015

    Foundation of Fehr Lagerlogistik GmbH as its own production in Ubstadt-Weiher (D).

  • 2014

    Based on real customer data, we developed our own computer-based simulation for the first time, which visualizes processes, recognizes bottlenecks and shows potential for optimization.

    Fehr WMS implements its own software solution.

    The compact, high-performance tower warehouse Fehr Multi Tower is included in the portfolio.

    The first fully automatic picking system is developed by Fehr and installed in Sweden.

    For the first time, satellite technology enables material handling without a carrier.

  • 1974

    The first storage and retrieval unit with two pull-out devices for cassettes in the steel trade goes into operation at Carl Spaeter GmbH.

  • 1972

    A revolutionary gripper system guarantees gentle material handling through force-locking movement sequences.

  • 1970

    With an innovative sliding system for cassettes on the shelf, Fehr develops the basis for the still leading Fehr Honeycomb warehouse

  • 1949

    Hans Fehr founds an engineering firm with a focus on logistics solutions for long goods.
