The Fehr Honeycomb warehouse for flat goods is based on the efficient interchangeable cassette principle and meets the highest requirements for flexibility and performance. A wide variety of flat products – of sheets, plates and coils in variable dimensions – can be stored safely, quickly and in a space-efficient manner. Thanks to minimal starting masses and intelligent cassette structure, the warehouse area is optimally used, as a result of which a high warehouse density is achieved. Fast shelf control units ensure short access times and high throughput performance. Continuous automation and the possibility of direct connection of processing machines ensure a continuously efficient material flow. Networking with ERP and WMS systems creates full transparency, optimized goods management and consistently high performance – even with high throughput or heterogeneous stocks.
The Fehr Honeycomb system is particularly suitable for companies in the steel, stainless steel and aluminum trade, as well as in glass processing and industrial production, which have to move large quantities of flat goods quickly, reliably and space-saving.
