The MATT 98 from Matter is an automated, cassette-free storage system for sheet metal and metal plates, optionally accommodating pallets. Direct integration with production lines—including laser cutting, sawing, and return of offcuts—ensures continuous material flow with minimal manual handling. The cassette-free, modular design maximizes space utilization while enabling fast, precise, and gentle handling. Telescopic crane forks allow accurate loading and retrieval, even for delicate materials.

Machine-independent automation and flexible installation make the system suitable for indoor use, outdoors under a canopy, or in existing warehouse areas. It can be scaled to handle increasing material volumes and changing sheet formats, providing efficient, reliable, and space-saving storage for large sheet metal inventories.

The MATT 98.C variant from Matter enables the lengthwise storage of cassettes with sheet metal in a modular, flexibly scalable system. It is machine-independent and can be seamlessly integrated into existing production and manufacturing processes.
