The automated Fehr Crane offers a fully automated, space-saving solution for the storage and provision of long, heavy or sensitive materials – from long goods up to 18 m long to heavy metal coils. Long material is stored in stable yokes, coils in special coil receptacles, which ensure gentle handling and prevent damage. An automatic crane transports the yokes or coils precisely between storage levels, loading and unloading stations and production lines. If necessary, the crane carries out targeted rearrangements without disturbing other stocks. A sliding carriage then takes over the efficient further transport to outgoing goods. Thanks to robust, low-maintenance construction and modular construction, the system ensures high operational reliability, continuous material flow and flexible adaptation to different material formats, weight classes or coil sizes. Minimal structural adjustments allow integration into existing halls and production processes.
